Hello my name is John, I'm interested in the Terrain stock, but not sure which barrel channel to get -The Sporter/Magnum or the Varmint/Sendero? I have #5 contour Shilen barrel, which would be better? Don't want the channel to be too opened, want it to be more uniformed fit, even if I have to open one up a little to fit it!
if you go with a varmint barrel inlet stock it will be a bit "gappy". I would recommend getting the sporter/magnum barrel inlet stock and sanding it open to get a nice uniform fit.
What a are the drop at comb specs for the Terrain and Outlander?
Terrain is .410" and the Outlander is .730".
Will the sporter/magnum barrel option work with a factory bergara hmr barrel?
Hi, yes it will as long as you don't have the heavier barrel contour from Bergara. If you do have their heavy contour, a varmint barrel inlet stock would work.
Hello. Before Ifound Grayboe I purchased a B&C for a Rem 700 CDL in 7mm Rem Mag. The barrel has a larger diameter than a standard caliber and won't fit without opening the barrel channel up. Will that particular model and caliber drop in to a Terrain without modification? Thank you
Is your barrel on your 7mm rem mag a factory barrel contour from Remington? Does your rifle have the BDL floor plate on the bottom or just the ADL trigger guard?
If its a factory barrel and you have the BDL floor plate, then yes your rifle will be a drop in fit into the Terrain stock. No fitting or modification needed.
